The Problem

Most Brands Add a Step They Don’t Need.

You manufacture overseas — China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, wherever your production lives. Your product gets loaded into a container, crosses an ocean, clears U.S. customs, and arrives at a port on the East Coast.

And then most brands do the same thing: they send it to a warehouse that receives it eventually. Inventory trickles into a system. Orders that have been sitting start shipping days or weeks later than they should.

That extra stop costs money and time — and for brands selling to both consumers and retail partners, it compounds every time a new container lands. There’s a cleaner model, and it starts with where your container goes the moment it clears the port.

Container In. Inventory Live. Orders Out.

The Northeast Group Fulfillment Center is located at 12 Nepco Way, Plattsburgh, NY — approximately 4 hours by truck from the Port of New York/New Jersey and about 3.5 hours from the Port of Boston. Here’s exactly what happens, and how fast.

Within 2–4 hours

Container Destuffing

Your container is fully unloaded on-site, by our team — not staged in a yard, not handed to a third-party crew. It comes off the truck and directly into our operation.

Within 48 hours

Unit-Level Scan-In

Every single unit is scanned individually into our WMS — not bulk counted. Every SKU gets a complete scan record tied to your dedicated inventory location.

The moment scanning’s done

Live Inventory Visibility

As soon as your product is scanned in, it’s live in our system. You see your inventory in real time — what you have, where it is, what’s available to fulfill.

Same day

Fulfillment Begins

E-commerce orders queued by 1:00 PM ship the same day. Wholesale and retail orders are processed against your retail partners’ earliest ship date and cancel date.

One Inventory. Both Channels.

Most fulfillment operations are built for one channel or the other — product gets siloed, systems don’t talk to each other, and brands end up running two parallel operations. At The Northeast Group Fulfillment Center, both channels run under the same roof from the same inventory pool. A single unit can fulfill a consumer order today and contribute to a retail pallet shipment tomorrow, without being moved, reassigned, or touched by a different team.

What We Do With Your Product Before It Ships.

Not everything that comes off a container is ready to ship the moment it arrives. All of it is handled in-house — what other operations treat as special requests, we treat as standard.

Flexible by Design — Including the Canada Question.

Some partners ask us to do something extra with their container: receive the full container, sort inventory between U.S. and Canadian allocations, and forward the Canadian portion north to their own Canadian warehouse — while the U.S. portion stays in Plattsburgh and goes directly into fulfillment.

Depends on trade conditions. Whether this approach makes sense depends on current trade agreements and tariff conditions — it’s not a standard, one-size-fits-all service. But when it fits your business model and the trade environment supports it, the capability is here.

Note: The Northeast Group Fulfillment Center does not provide bonded warehouse services, border pickup, or customs brokerage. We receive containers after they’ve cleared U.S. customs at the port.
